Grasslands National Park is a Dark Sky Preserve and one of the few remaining natural grasslands in North America. Discover some of Canada’s rarest wildlife, darkest skies and some of the richest resources of dinosaur fossils in the country.
The West Block of the park is where you will find the wild plains bison, the 20km Ecotour Drive and the Frenchman Valley Campground.
The East Block is recognized for dinosaur fossils, the 11km Badlands Parkway and the Rock Creek Campground.
